A lot of creepy stuff has happened in my game that defy explanation.
The Spiders
These things have been popping up randomly and are very dangerous. Do not approach unless you have a full and well-seasoned squad. I tried getting closer to get a better shot but drew aggro and got swiftly killed.
The Wall
This giant structure appears to be endless and beginningless. No idea why or how it appeared, or what its purpose is.
Other Unexplained Stuff
What are even these things? I don't remember implementing any of it.
These are all assets that are nowhere to be found in the game's repo, so not entirely sure why or how they're even there.
Various Bugfixes and improvements
- Fixed a death bug where dead units would still be considered "alive" and targeted, causing various other bugs
- AI-controlled units getting attacked will acquire their attackers as targets (Self-Defend)
- Units that get too far from the squad will stop whatever they're doing and get back in range
- Speed increase on all projectiles
- Units will gain a little XP and levels when taking damage (getting hurt means learning, right?)
- Fixed Stun + Knockback bugs with units' AI navigation
- Fixed units spawning on top of castle walls and being unreachable
- Fixed a bug where Druids' ice beams would still slow units down beyond death
- Smarter AI-controlled squads navigation
- Added a slight post-process vignette
